Royale Palm Yacht Basin & Marina has been in business for over 45 years. Built in 1966 by the Marrone Family, Royale Palm Marina offers dockage for vessels 30’ to 145’ and a full service boatyard. The Boat yard is operated by Ronald L. Marrone, former Awlgrip Technical Sales Rep. Ronald L. Marrone grew up in the boat yard and by age 15, began working for the family business. He worked diligently to prove himself and was trained by his father to operate the travel lift and work with others. His responsibilities grew to include, painting, mechanical and electrical repairs. Ron’s passion for painting boats grew and in his early twenties, he decided to open his own yacht refinishing company so he could specialize in the application of yacht coatings on larger vessels. He managed a small crew for over a decade and applied urethane coatings on yachts up to 155 feet throughout the United States.

Located along the Ft. Lauderdale intercoastal waterways, Royale Palm Yacht Basin & Marina has been a
family owned and operated marina since 1966.

When a Technical Sales position became available with Awlgrip Yacht Coatings, a leading yacht coatings company, he applied in order to gain more sales experience and to obtain a better understanding of the product chemistry. While working for Awlgrip over the past 12 years, he developed an expertise in the field of yacht coatings and provided technical support to customers, distributors, yacht builders and shipyards throughout the country.

Royale Palm Marina is a full service boatyard/marina located in Broward County, Florida. Located two miles from Port Everglades with No Fixed Bridges between us and the ocean, our convenient location allows for quick & easy access.

YACHT REFINISHING

We specialize in all aspects of yacht refinishing regardless of vessel size, power or sail. Our 75 ton travel lift can accommodate boats up to 70 feet while our in water dockage area can accommodate vessels up to 145’.

REPAIR AND REFIT

Looking for exterior hull side, topside or bottom painting? Our knowledgeable, experienced associates are trained in the application of premium urethane finishers, fairing, bright work, corrosion control, fiberglass repair and bottom paint application.
